Franklin Falls Animal Clinic in Indianapolis, IN is a full service companion animal hospital. It is our commitment to provide quality veterinary care throughout the life of your pet. Our services and facilities are designed to assist in routine preventive care for young, healthy pets; early detection and treatment of disease as your pet ages; and complete medical and surgical care as necessary during his or her lifetime.

  • Dr. Shelly Mullen

    Veterinarian
    Dr. Mullen is a long-time resident of the Southside, having grown up in Perry Township and gone to Perry Meridian high school.  After graduating with a Bachelor's of Science degree from Illinois Wesleyan University, she went on to obtain her DVM degree from Purdue University.  She worked on the Eastside for several years before taking the big step to follow her dream and open her own hospital in 2008. When she is not working to improve the lives of her patients, she has many interests at home and in the community.  Her twin sons and two dogs also keep her pretty busy!  In her spare time, she enjoys gardening, reading, hiking, and white-water rafting.
  • Dr. Sarah Tieman-Sievers

    Relief Veterinarian
    Originally from Bloomington, Dr. Sarah Tieman-Sievers spent her college years at Purdue and obtained her DVM in 1991. She spent her first 12 years after graduation in regular small animal practice. For the last 12 years, she has worked as a relief veterinarian. Relief work has really broadened her skills. It has taught her new techniques, protocols and how to work with a variety of people. Her main interests are in preventative care and internal medicine. She currently lives with her husband (also a 1991 Purdue DVM graduate), 2 children, 5 cats, and 1 dog. Outside of practice she volunteers for Girl Scout and 4-H. She is also an avid scrapbooker and gardener.

    Office Manager, CVPM
    Karen has been a part of Franklin Falls Animal Clinic since it opened in 2008. She graduated from IUPUI in 2005 and achieved the Certified Veterinary Office Manager designation through the Veterinary Hospital Managers Association in 2023. She shares her home with two children and a Bluetick Coonhound, Stormy.

    Registered Veterinary Technician
    Ashlee is a Registered Veterinary Technician who has been with us for a long time! She graduated from the Vet Tech Institute at International Business College in 2010. She shares her home with a wonderful kitty named Max. In her spare time, she enjoys drawing and playing video games.

    Registered Veterinary Technician
    Erin has been a Registered Veterinary Technician since 2020. Having started her career working at a horse barn, she still enjoys riding horses. Always the animal lover, she loves caring for her 4 cats, 2 dogs, bearded dragon, leopard gecko, and many fish. She spends her spare time pet-sitting, gaming, boating, camping, and fishing. She also loves spending time with her mom, dad, 2 brothers, 2 sisters-in-law, 4 nephews, and her boyfriend, Logan.

    Registered Veterinary Technician
    Kathy is a graduate of the Vet Tech Institute in Indianapolis. Her hobbies include writing, ceramics, and caring for her chaotic pet cat.

    Receptionist
    Hannah has been working the veterinary medicine for almost 2 years and loves every aspect of it! She loves building relationships with her clients and their pets. Her hobbies include drinking coffee, reading books, and trying out new recipes in the kitchen. Hannah's goal is to one day pursue a career in veterinary nursing.
